IFAT 2022 in Munich
From 30 May until 3 June 2022, UNTHA shredding technology took the opportunity to showcase all the company’s innovations and upgrades at the IFAT in Munich. The Austrian premium manufacturer for shredding technology presented its extensive portfolio of machines, conducted demo runs, and told attendants about its future-orientated service packages.
Kindling interest, generating new leads, looking after existing customer contacts, reconnecting with old business partners: Apart from the opportunity to present its products and services, networking was the other big priority for UNTHA on the five IFAT trade fair days. Peter Streinik, Head of Global Sales and Business Development Waste and Recycling, confirms this: “We expected a lot from the IFAT, especially after its four-year hiatus. Looking back, I have to say that the trade fair really paid off: The overwhelming number of visitors at our stand proved that we were on the right track with our mix of technical product showcasing and services and, above all, that the live demos we conducted at two different locations were exactly what our existing and potential customers were looking for. We are very happy with what we achieved at the trade fair and the leads and orders it generated for the upcoming months!”
Strong interest for the wide-ranging offer at the stand
The world première of the new ZR class turned out to be a magnet for visitors to the UNTHA stand, as was the tried-and-tested XR class, the RS four-shaft technology, the intelligent condition monitoring tool UNTHA GENIUS, and the impressive range of services offered by the UNTHA Service Competence Center. During the VDMA Field Days, the mobile version of the XR shredder for waste wood shredding was also shown.
Live demos as absolute highlights
The live demos, conducted on the premises of Breitsamer Entsorgung on three days of the trade fair, were particular hits and provided UNTHA with the opportunity of showing its entire range of mobile shredders in action. Visitors could watch the XR3000RC mobil-e, the XR3000C mobil-e and the new ZR2400W mobil-e making short shrift of a range of materials, such as waste wood A2-A3, tyres, window profiles, MBA waste/wood containing metal, bales, construction waste, pulper ropes and white goods. Experts from the UNTHA team were at hand during the demo runs to explain the machines in greater detail and to answer questions from the audience.
