The UNTHA LR630 and LR700 shredders are robustly built, resistant to contaminants and energy-efficient at the same time. Thanks to their compact design, they can be easily accommodated even in confined spaces and integrated into existing peripheral devices such as extraction systems and the like. At Wolf Fenster AG, these two UNTHA shredders ensure that residual wood from production is utilised and contribute to the sensible use of valuable resources.

At the Wolf Fenster company site, there is a production building for the serial production of standard windows and a building for customised products. The waste wood to be shredded consists on the one hand of wood offcuts from production and on the other hand of pallets from transport.
Reqirements:
Shredding of solid wood pieces
Energy efficiency
Insensitivity to impurities
Compact design
Wolf Fenster has two shredders from the LR model series in operation – an LR630 and an LR700. Both are characterised by their compact design, energy-efficient drive concept and reliability. The wood offcuts from production are fed in manually and shredded to a granulate size of approx. 15–20 mm. The UNTHA LR700 is located outdoors and has been equipped with a low-temperature package – this includes low-temperature oils/greases and a control cabinet heater. This means that waste wood can be processed even at temperatures as low as -30° C. The shredder is connected to an extraction system. A pipe magnet removes metal parts such as screws and staples from the wood chips. The contaminant-free output material is then fed into a silo and used to heat the company's site. The LR630 is located in a hall and is also connected to the extraction system.
We work with two very compact UNTHA shredders, which are characterised above all by their energy efficiency and reliability. The LR630 and LR700 shred our waste wood quickly into a homogeneous granulate and also easily deal with impurities such as nails or staples. We use the wood chips to supply our entire company with thermal energy.
