Input materials
Waste paper is the most important raw material for the paper industry. Impurities and foreign objects in the paper must be removed in order to efficiently recycle all of the waste paper. Our shredding machines are especially suited for this task due to their high resistance to foreign objects.
SHREDDING OF PAPER AND CARDBOARD
Since paperless offices and the phasing-out of printed messages (or documents, magazines, etc.) have not yet been achieved, the significance of paper recycling has hardly reduced. In particular the continuing Corona virus pandemic and the resulting boom in the online mail order business have in fact caused the quantity of packaging material to increase substantially.
The practice of paper shredding in order to obtain new pulp for the generation of paper, cardboard and paperboard is therefore also increasing in significance.
Not only is this process more economically viable, but also the recycling of waste paper, waste cardboard etc. reduces harmful effects on our environment.
In this way, waste cardboard and paper can be shredded to form filling material or to produce new packaging, etc., and thus be completely recycled.
The solution
Our four-shaft paper and cardboard shredders are particularly reliable, and impress clients with their compact construction. A further advantage of our machines is their resistance to extraneous materials.
Our robust shredders are even able to handle heavy contamination and hard extraneous materials such as metal with ease. Our single-shaft shredders are particularly suitable for processing large quantities.
With our XR series, for example, entire paper rolls can be quickly and efficiently shredded, to name but one example of its often-tested application in the paper and cardboard sector.
